They've toiled for years in pursuit of the opportunity that lay before them now - to represent their country on home soil. With the FIL World Championship rapidly approaching, here's a look at three Team USA hopefuls on destiny's doorstep that were profiled in the April 2014 issue of Lacrosse Magazine.

Full-event ticket packages for the 2014 Federation of International Lacrosse Men's World Championships are now on sale. Each package includes access to 142 world championship games, the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony, the International Village and the Vendor Village.
Four days of the event will be played in the 18,000-seat stadium at Dick's Sporting Goods Park and two turf fields will include grandstand seating. Click here for ticketing information.
